Hawaii is the 50th State of the United States of America. Therefore, travel to Honolulu, Hawaii (airport code: HNL) is bound by U.S. Customs and Border regulations. You will need an I-94, Visa to enter Hawaii. Please visit the U.S. Customs and Border Web site at for more information.

Hawaii's weather is generally warm year round, though there are occasional showers in the Manoa Valley area. Also, the conference facilities are air conditioned, so a light jacket is recommended. The Hawaii Imin International Conference Center of the East-West Center is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, three miles from Waikiki and adjacent to the University of Hawaii. The Center’s 21-acre campus includes conference facilities, a research and administration office building and three residential halls. For directions, please see the East-West Center Web site.
